Grateful to God for the Christian upbringing received from his parents. And the 12 years of mission school  journey. Though accepted Christ as a child, it was only at 16 that he felt the faith was truly personal.

As an adult, worked for 13 years in  the Communications Industry doing marketing, business development and operational management before answering the call to the ministry in 2007.

Grew up at Hermon and feels it's an honour and  privilege to be pastoring at his home church.

Married to a wonderful helpmate who he met at Sunday School, and a proud dad of 2 adults daughters. Loves the time-saving features of Online Streaming Networks and wishes he had more opportunities to scuba dive.​​

Chow Meng's story of faith began in his teenage years when a friend from secondary school introduced him to the gospel. This sparked his curiosity about Christianity, leading him on a path of exploration and eventually to accepting Christ. His commitment to his faith grew as he spent many years serving in Sunday school before feeling a deeper calling to join the church session.

In his earlier career, Chow Meng worked in project management and customer relations, collaborating with multinational corporations and government agencies. Over a decade ago, he made a significant career shift into teaching, where he found a new passion and purpose.

Chow Meng is married with two daughters. His family also includes two beloved cats. In his leisure time, he enjoys immersing himself in science fiction films and talking to his cats.

Growing up in a Christian home, Jesus Christ was always part of the furniture, but never the centrepiece of Luwin’s life. After a few agnostic years, he decided at 19 that Jesus was indeed the way, the truth and the life. But it wasn’t until he attended campus ministry in university where he discovered the centrality of the gospel to all of life, which transformed his worldview.

After graduating from the Singapore Management University, Luwin worked in an immigration law firm for two years before entering Singapore Bible College to obtain his Master of Divinity. He was ordained in 2021 and has been serving as a Pastor in Mt Hermon ever since.

Most of his free time is spent with his twin godchildren and their adorable pet Maltipoo, and wondering what has become of his beloved Manchester United.​
